A completely new version of the Toyota Corolla was launched in the middle of 2019 as a 2020 model. The engine options for the 2024 Toyota Corolla include a 1.6-litre and a newly introduced 2.0-litre, both of which are 4-cylinder “VVT-i” engines. Additionally, a fresh hybrid engine has been added to the lineup, featuring a 1.8-litre engine combined with electric motors. The five-passenger vehicle comes in several trim variations.

In Saudi Arabia, the entry-level model is equipped with a 3-cylinder 1.5-litre engine, 15-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, a black front grille, power windows and mirrors, keyless entry, and a 4-speaker CD/MP3/USB/AUX audio system.

Upgrading to the 1.6 GLi model brings fog lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear air conditioning vents, rear parking sensors, a chrome grille, trunk liner, enhanced upholstery with a leather steering wheel, split-folding rear seats, a 6-speaker touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth, smart keyless entry with a start button, and several additional convenience features. The 2.0 GLi model includes LED headlights with running lights, a sunroof, manual rear curtains, automatic climate control, and cruise control. In the UAE, there are five trim options, starting with the 1.6 XLi model, which comes with a standard automatic transmission, 15-inch steel wheels, a 4-speaker CD/MP3/USB/AUX audio system, power mirrors, and a black grille, along with power windows, keyless entry, and central locking. The 1.6 GLi offers upgraded upholstery with a leather steering wheel, a chrome grille, split-folding rear seats, LED running lights, smart keyless entry and ignition, an LCD information display, a superior 6-speaker audio system, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

For those opting for the larger engine, the 2.0 XLi includes all the features of the 1.6 XLi but adds 16-inch alloy wheels and 6 speakers for the basic audio system.

The 1.8 XLi HEV shares similar features with the 1.6 XLi, while the 1.8 GLi HEV boasts a moonroof, a 7-inch screen for the infotainment system, auto-leveling LED headlights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Other regions may offer slightly varied trim levels.
